Complex sourcing made easy

HAMBURG-based infotech sourcing service provider GloMaP.com has complemented its product portfolio with the inclusion of a sales and consultancy services for customers with high volume and complex purchase projects, in partnership with the Pittsburgh company CombineNet.

The move completes four years' development work for GloMaP.com, which started as a marketplace for sea trading offering customers individual platforms for transport and freight management.

"CombineNet offers an advanced technology for complex sourcing projects," said Markus Giesenkirchen, board member of GloMaP.com AG. "This software takes the full complexity of sourcing projects into account and - among other things - offers the possibility of receiving conditional bids.

"Dynamic pricing and moderate investments is the motivation for using GloMaP," he said.
